Prima timber acoustic fencing, is an effective fence for noise reduction. There are many sound barriers on the market with absorbent or reflecting qualities. They are suitable for many applications including residential, commercial, transport and industrial settings.

Reflective acoustic fencing is the most popular using timber boards from spruce of other sound absorbing softwoods. The boards are 22mm think and butt jointed with cover strips and a rails to suit. Post are timber up to 2.4m high and steel post over 3m high. Reflective timber acoustic fencing will have a test rating of up to 28 dB* in noise reduction and conform to BS EN 1793-1&2

Absorbent timber fences usually have a double-sided quality, one side has timber vertical boards with cover strips and the other side has a geotex protective membrane and rockwool to absorb unwanted noise. Absorbent acoustic fencing will have a test rating of up to 32 dB* in noise reduction and conform to BS EN 1793-2 Category  A3
