Our busy summer consisted of various school projects. This primary school in South London required junior basketball and football. With a limited budget, a full sports court would have been too expensive, so we came up with an innovative solution that gave them the best of both.
At each end of the court where the football goals will be placed we installed heavy-duty twin wire mesh with narrow apertures known in the trade as rebound mesh. Although the court is only used by primary school children, because they are playing basketball which uses a heavy ball we installed the remaining mesh in Prima double bar 868 at 3m high as opposed to the 656 mesh.
