SPF Completes 300m Weldmesh Fencing Project at North Finchley Allotments
Sampson & Partners Fencing (SPF) has successfully completed the installation of 300 metres of 2.4m high Double Bar Weldmesh fencing, featuring 656 mesh, around a community allotment in North Finchley.
This project came with a unique set of challenges. Our team carefully managed the cutting back and removal of dense overgrowth while ensuring the protection of existing trees. The removal of the old chainlink fencing—mounted on concrete posts—was particularly complex due to the tight working conditions and the close proximity of individual allotment plots.
Maintaining site security throughout the works was a top priority, especially given the active use of the allotments. Coordination was key, with multiple stakeholders involved, including our client, the local council, and the allotment society, along with its many resident members.
Thanks to careful planning, clear communication, and a dedicated team effort, the project was delivered on time—another successful job completed in summer 2024!
