Prima Estate Railings

Prima Estate Railings we once the primary fencing used on large country estates. However many housebuilders are using estate railings on developments to give that country feel. Previously the specification had flat bar infills that would pass through the posts and either be welded or tacted on site. Nowadays estate railings come in 2m sections and bolt to posts. The 1.2m height is generally the same but there are various specifications with differing numbers of horizontal rails and post options.

Standard specification:

  • Height: 1.2m
  • Rails: Solid steel manufactured from round  bar 16, 18 or 20mm
  • Posts: 50x30mm flat or 50x50mm square bar
  • Fixings M10 with shear nuts
  • Finish: Primed and painted, galvanised to BS EN 1461 or galvanised and polyester powder coated to any RAL or BS colour
